Woman: We just got a puppy and I'm exhausted from getting up in the middle of the night.
Me: It gets better faster than you'd think.
Woman: How fast?
Me: Well, our dog is 16 weeks and he mostly sleeps through the night.
Woman, as the elevator doors close behind me: Oh, my God. 16 weeks? From right now? [mumbly groaning]

Well, no, not 16 weeks from right now. 16 weeks from birth, which is hopefully 8 (maybe more) weeks before you got 'im.

Growing in adult doggy teeth. We think he might have a cold--he's a little sneezy and seems to be coughing. Unless he's just trying to swallow whatever he's chewed to pieces this time. :P He's gets his last shots (for now) on Saturday, and after that we'll be able to take him to the dog park. Sweet!
