On the A list: Guns, Germs, and Steel, by Jared Diamond, which is a really interesting book. I can't say too much, because Adam is reading it next, but I enjoyed it very much. Diamond uses a lot of different studies and evidence to further his ideas, and makes a lot of science and history accessible to the reader.
On the F list: 1421: The Year China Discovered America? We watched the DVD, which explained the book's theory, but then went on to challenge some of the book's ideas. It was clear that, although it's an interesting hypothesis, there is little to no evidence supporting it. I was glad to save myself the time and money that I might have spent on the book itself.

Oh, everything that was on it three weeks ago when we started stripping. Projects and rehearsals kill the DVD time pretty fast, sadly. We were making steady tortoise process towards the 13 discs of Monty Python, but now we're like the rabbit--resting along the way.
I was thinking that I should send you a couple of new DVDs, in case you've gotten tired of "Harold and Kumar." [lol]
Mmm, for the new job, I might have to add some American history doc's. What a bummer that would be, eh? :P
The Monty Python will go nicely with the 5 disks of 'The American Revolution' and the 4 disks of 'The American President'.
When we go to send them back I think we should switch the envelopes on some of them as a joke for future viewers.
